Peppol ID format reference — schemes, values, examples

Every Peppol participant ID is built from a four-digit ISO 6523 scheme code and an issuer-specific value. Here's the reference for the most common schemes you'll see in France, Belgium, and the EU.

Format

The canonical form on the wire is iso6523-actorid-upis::{scheme}:{value}. On peppolcheck.fr and in everyday use we drop the prefix: {scheme}:{value}, e.g. 0208:0848934496.
